Closed
The JM Longyear Research Library follows the above schedule but is closed on Mondays. Our library operates by appointment only. Please call or email for an appointment. 

The Center is closed on:
New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve.

Parking

Parking is available in the Marquette Regional History Center parking lot located off Spring Street, and 2-hour parking is available along Third and Baraga Streets.

Accessibility

Handicap parking is available in the main parking lot located off Spring Street. There are additional handicap parking spaces in front of our Third Street entrance which also has a ramp. More handicap parking along Spring Street.

Admission

Adults: $10.00
Seniors & Military: $8.00
Students: $4.00, including college students with ID
12 & Under: $3.00

Museums for All (EBT Cardholders): $5 for adults and free for children age 17 and under. Learn more about this nationwide program. 
Blue Star Museum:
Free admission for active military and their family members until September 7, 2026. Learn more about this nationwide program.

Admission is complimentary at the Sponsor, Patron and Life levels.
