Michigan Aviation: People and Places that Changed History with Barry Levine

From Barry Levine, author of Michigan Aviation published in 2021, hear stories about the history and human-interest stories of the three former Michigan Strategic Air Command bases - Kincheloe, K. I. Sawyer, and Wurtsmith. He also discusses the 1971 crash of a B-52 bomber in Little Traverse Bay. All nine crewmembers died, but the area narrowly avoided an environmental catastrophe – the B-52 was about a minute’s flight time away from its intended target, the Big Rock Nuclear Power Plant.

After this $5 purchase, you will receive a PDF that contains the link to the program.
